Adjusting to European prices again, we drive up from Tuscany to Vicenza in northern Italy. We are based here in the grounds of a beautiful old villa. We visit Verona's Roman amphitheatre and have a memorable (and jaw-droppingly expensive) day out in Venice. After a week in this beautiful part of Italy, we start our long drive up to Calais. We spend a night in Beaune and in Paris before reaching Calais and taking the ferry over to Dover. A lovely week in the UK catching up with friends. The kids have a bowling party to celebrate Juliet's 7th birthday. Then back to Calais, drive to Dusseldorf and over to Florida - home for the next few months.
